Accessibility statement

This training is for everyone who runs or works in a small business, and so is this website. It should work for you whatever device, screen reader or settings you rely on.

Last updated: 5 November 2026

We want everyone to be able to use this website and attend our courses, including people who aren’t confident with technology. That’s who we built the business for.

The standard we aim for

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the widely recognised standard for accessible websites.

That means you should be able to:

  • navigate the whole site using only a keyboard
  • use it with a screen reader
  • zoom in to 200% without text disappearing or overlapping
  • read all text clearly against its background
  • see where you are on the page when using a keyboard

How we’ve tested our site

  • A review against WCAG 2.2 AA, in November 2026.
  • Automated testing of every page with axe-core, an industry-standard accessibility checker.
  • Colour-contrast checks on every text and background colour combination we use. All meet or exceed the WCAG AA contrast ratios.

We test again whenever we make significant changes to the site.

Known issues

  • Third-party services. Course bookings run through Eventbrite, and our forms use a Cloudflare security check. We chose these services partly for their accessibility, but we don’t control them. If either causes you a problem, contact us and we’ll help you book or sign up another way.

Our courses

Accessibility doesn’t stop at the website. We want every course to work for you, wherever it runs. When you book, or at any time before your session, tell us about anything that would help, such as step-free access, a hearing loop, large-print materials, extra time on exercises or a particular seat. We’ll check with the venue and do everything we reasonably can.

Found a problem? Tell us

If you can’t use part of this website, or you need information in a different format, email us at hello@vant-academy.co.uk. Tell us:

  • the page you were on
  • what went wrong
  • any assistive technology you use, if you’re comfortable sharing that

We’ll reply within 5 working days.

If you’re not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
